Location. The Park Hotel is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, opposite the canal and the largest casino in Europe. The Heineken Brewery is 400 metres away and the Van Gogh Museum and Hobbemakade tram station are both 500 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Park Hotel is a contemporary residence occupying a historic seven storey building overlooking the Singelgracht Canal in central Amsterdam. The hotel offers the services of a porter, and staff at the front desk can offer advice on Amsterdams sights and attractions. Complimentary newspapers are offered in the lobby. The hotel also offers a hair salon and 24 hour room service.

The Park Hotel offers breakfast every morning (surcharge). The Inn at the Park Brasserie Lounge Bar serves European dishes and is decorated with artwork by Peter Donkersloot and George Heidweiller. Restaurant de Stadhouder is furnished in traditional Dutch style and serves international dishes with a French influence.

The Park Hotel offers five air conditioned conference rooms, and high speed Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Guestrooms. The 181 air conditioned guestrooms at the Park Hotel feature televisions with Internet access and satellite channels, minibars, coffee/tea makers and safes. Guestrooms feature traditional English style decor or are furnished in bold, contemporary style, with high contrast shades, floor to ceiling art by George Heidweiller and soft ambient lighting. Expert Tip. Visit the house where Anne Frank hid during World War II and wrote the famous diary that describes her isolation and fear of discovery. Driving Directions:
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to the Park Hotel is 20 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Getting there. The hotel offers an airport shuttle for a surcharge. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Take the train to Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C., then transfer to tram five in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat and follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is two kilometres away on the right hand side. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis to Park Hotel cost approximately 35 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Amsterdam can be easily explored on foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged.
