Location. The Dolphin House Serviced Apartments are located in London, England, and constitute part of the Dolphin Square complex, set around landscaped gardens in a residential area of Westminster. Dolphin House is situated within one mile of Parliament, Victoria Station, and Westminster Millennium Pier, providing riverboat transport to the City and Canary Wharf.

Expert Tip. The gallery Tate Britain, 500 metres from Dolphin House, offers displays emphasising British art. Across the river, Battersea Park has a surprising little zoo, and a short taxi ride away is Battersea Arts Centre, an internationally acclaimed venue for the wilder side of theatre.

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR):
Distance to Dolphin House is 17 miles, approximately 31 minutes drive.

Getting there. The Heathrow Express train is the quickest way into London. It departs from the airport every 15 minutes, and takes 15 minutes to reach Paddington Station in central London. The journey is non stop and costs 14.50 GBP. Once at Paddington, take the Bakerloo line south until Oxford Circus, to connect to the Victoria Line south to Pimlico. From Pimlico Tube, on the Victoria Line, exit onto Beesborough Street South, turn right into Lupus Street, left into Georges Square, and right into Chichester Street. The journey to central London takes approximately one hour, and trains depart every 10 minutes. A one day travel pass costs 6.30 GBP, including travel to Heathrow (in zone 6). Black taxis cost approximately 50 GBP to central London. Coaches operate to London Victoria and the rest of the UK, and the airport is also served by local buses. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Pimlico Station is 100 metres away, providing access to London Underground (Tube). Buses are an alternative. Single tickets are expensive, but an electronic Oyster card offers a cheaper fare. Oyster cards can be purchased from ticket offices for 3 GBP (refundable). Daily or weekly travel passes are the most economical way to travel, and are valid on buses, trams, trains, and DLR, as well as on the Underground. Black taxis are available on the streets, but can be expensive. Driving is not recommended for visitors and a congestion charge zone is operated in central London.

Driving directions. From London Heathrow, follow signs to the M4 East to Central London.
Continue on the M4 as it merges into the A4.
Continue to follow signs to Central London/West End, turning onto W Cromwell Road, and right onto the A3220.
Take a left at Cremorne Road and continue onto Cheyne Walk.
At the A3212, take a left onto Chelsea Embankment.
Turn away from the river into Claverton Street and then take the first right into Chichester Street.
Dolphin House is on the right.
