Location. Dumazulu is located in Hluhluwe, South Africa, 30 kilometres from Isimangaliso Wetland Park, which has been awarded world heritage site status by UNESCO, 38 kilometres from Mkhuze Game Reserve, and 41 kilometres from Zululand Rhino Reserve.
Hotel Features. Dumazulu consists of twenty four chalets individually decorated to reflect the tribal people of South Africa, including Swazi, Zulu, Xhosa, Venda, Ndebele, North Sotho, and Tsonga. There is a Lapa, which is a traditional building with a thatched roof where conferences and functions can be held; there is capacity for 120 people in the Lapa. Dumazulu also has an outdoor swimming pool and a crocodile park, and free parking is available.

There is a lodge on site has an outdoor bar and restaurant for drinking and dining al fresco. The half board rate includes breakfast and dinner.

Guestrooms. The 24 chalets are all individually decorated in earth tones and ethnic fabrics, and are all equipped with air conditioning, televisions, telephones, hair dryers, and coffee and tea facilities. The hotel offers half board rates.
