Location. The Alexander House Hotel and Utopia Spa is located in the village of Turners Hill, England, four miles from East Grinstead and Wakehurst Gardens. Gatwick airport is nine miles away.
Hotel Features. This spa hotel is set in a 17th century stone mansion in a 170 acre garden. Famous past residents include the Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. The marble floored lobby, with cream Romanesque pillars and antique furnishings, is home to a 24 hour front desk and concierge desk operated by multilingual staff. The Utopia Spa, entered through a Gothic corridor of marble and granite, houses three pools, steam rooms, saunas, and rainfall showers set among stone columns and domed ceilings.
