From Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD):
Distance to the Hotel Plaza Santiago is 25 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.

Getting there. Frequent underground metro services connect the airport with Madrid city centre. Located in Terminal 2, the station is on Metro line 8 (pink). An airport bus leaves the airport every 10 minutes for the Plaza de Colon terminal in central Madrid. From central Madrid, trains run to Renfe Pinto, 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis are available although an airport surcharge applies.

Getting around. Pinto can be explored on foot and regular train services run to central Madrid. The city centre has many narrow streets and squares and is best explored on foot. The extensive metro and public bus systems provide an efficient and cheap way of getting around the city.
