A contemporary hotel with large glass atrium, the Scandic Skelleftea is situated one kilometre from the historic old town and the Skelleftea Museum. This eight floor hotel features 131 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which are decorated in a Nordic style decor with parquet floors, and include satellite television, trouser presses and hair dryers.
The lush atrium garden at the heart of the hotel provides a pretty location to relax with a book, and lies next to the two restaurants and bar. Further afield, guests can ride the 13.5 kilometre long cableway (once the longest in the world) over the Swedish countryside, starting 30 kilometres from the hotel. Skelleftea Airport (SFT) is 18 kilometres from the Scandic Skelleftea, around 20 minutes by car.
