Location. Le Royal Beirut hotel is located in the Embassy district of Beirut, Lebanon, within 10 kilometres of the historic Byblos, and Casino Du Liban. Downtown Beirut is 12 kilometres away.
Hotel Features.This large, air conditioned hotel houses a health club, hair salon, shops, nightclub, and two ballrooms, as well as The Royal Spa, which offers a Turkish bath, swimming pool, sauna, and spa tub. Spa treatments include body wraps, facials, and massages. Multilingual staff operate the 24 hour front desk and concierge desk, and valet parking is provided.

International dishes, and Sunday brunches are available at Le Jardin Du Royal restaurant. The nautically themed Titanic Piano bar, complete with aquarium, serves international dishes. Diwan Shahrayar offers Lebanese specialties such as meza, grilled meats, and Arabic desserts.

Expert Tip. The Jeita Grotto is a compound of caves with many stalactites and stalagmites, in the Valley of Nahr al Kalb (Dog River). A ropeway or a train shuttle is available to visitors.

Distance to Le Royal Beirut is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.

Getting there. Yellow taxis wait at the airport and cost approximately 35 USD to Le Royal Beirut hotel. Airport transfers are available from the hotel, and cost 35 USD. Buses run to the city centre from the airport roundabout, which is located one kilometre away from the terminal building. White and blue OCFTC buses 7 and 10 run to central Beirut. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The city is well served by buses, which can be hailed on the street. Minibuses and buses run from the Charles Helou bus station to locations north of Beirut. The Cola transport hub links the city to locations in the south. Taxis are readily available, and are popular for travelling around Lebanon.
