Hotel Features. Guests are greeted into a stylish lobby with deep red accents, hand carved furniture and exquisite artwork. An atrium gallery features interesting sculptures depicting rock climbers ascending the six stories to the top. Rocks Modern Grill serves up regional cuisine and cocktails, and Rocks on the Run offers ready to go meals. The resort boasts an indoor/outdoor pool, a jetted tub, a sauna and a fitness center. Ski and golf club storage is available and there are sports and gift shops on site. Conference space is available and wireless Internet access is offered in public areas. Guestrooms. All of the soundproofed guestrooms feature contemporary d�cor, gas fireplaces and kitchenettes with sinks, refrigerators and microwave ovens. Two televisions in each unit come equipped with cable and DVD players, with video game consoles available upon request.
Expert Tip. The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, ten miles from the resort in Vail, offer a relaxing break from mountain activity. At 8,200 feet, the gardens are definitively unique and feature around 2,000 varieties of plants plus a rock garden and a 120 foot waterfall.
