Driving Directions:
There is an express train service every 30 minutes to Romes Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes). A single ticket costs around 10 EUR. The hotel is 100 metres from Barberini metro station. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the city centre will cost around 50 EUR. Romes efficient integrated transportation system includes buses, trams, subway (metro) and suburban trains. Tickets should be bought before boarding and are available from ATAC ticket machines and all tobacconists. The city centre is easily negotiated on foot. Traffic in Rome is often busy and chaotic so driving is not generally recommended.
From Rome Fiumicino Airport, take the A91 towards Rome and turn right onto Via Cristoforo Colombo. Continue ahead and turn right onto Piazza Numa Pompilio and left onto Via Druso. Continue ahead, turn left onto Via Merulana, right onto Piazza Di Santa Maria Maggiore and left onto Via dellEsquilino. Turn right onto Via Torino, left onto Via Nazionale and right onto Via Firenze. Turn right onto Via Barberini, left onto Via Leonida Bissolati and left again onto Via di San Basilio on which the hotel is located.
