The Hotel Beau Rivage comprises thatched villas in lush gardens on white sandy beach overlooking blue lagoon on east of Mauritius. The 174 guestrooms are spread over two floors and have tropical blue and yellow decor with balconies overlooking the sea. The Indouchine Restaurant features Brazilian rosewood flooring and Persian rugs and serves French and Asian fusion food by candlelight and Le Langoustier Restaurant offers splendid sea views and serves seafood. The Club Savanne Bar has an African theme with jazz music while the Monsoon Lounge & Bar is by the swimming pool with sea views and serves light meals and cocktails as well as high tea with scones and Indian sweetmeats. LAventure du Sucre, museum tracing the history of sugar production on the island, is 20 kilometres from the hotel and the excellent shopping of Grand Baie is 25 kilometres away. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 75 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
