Location. The five storey Club Cala Regina overlooks a private sandy beach and is set amid 30 hectares of olive groves, four kilometres from the historic Sicilian town of Sciacca. Mount Kronos and Santa Margherita, a 16th century church, are both four kilometres from the hotel. Falcone & Borsellino Airport is 100 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 80 minutes.
Hotel Features. Sports and recreational facilities at the Club Cala Regina include outdoor, indoor and childrens swimming pools, tennis courts, a volleyball court and miniature golf, and the hotel also offers aerobics classes. A range of organised daytime activities and evening entertainment are provided for adults, and the private beach offers opportunities for windsurfing and sailing. Drinks are served by the pool and at the open air beach bar. As well as a nursery for infants, the hotel also offers a playground and a kids club for children aged up to 16. Other amenities include a hair salon offering beauty treatments, a gift shop, cash machine and complimentary onsite parking.
The Cala Regina restaurant opens onto a terrace for al fresco dining and offers a buffet of Sicilian specialities, international fare and fish dishes, along with daily themed dinners, and Bar Cala Regina serves snacks and a selection of international drinks.

Expert Tip. Climb the 386 metres of Mount Kronion where, according to Greek legend, Daedalus tried to collect the steam rising from cracks in the rock. The thermal vents are still active today.
