Location. The Hotel Arabella is located in the Black Sea resort of Golden Sands, Bulgaria within 50 metres of a large, sandy beach and 17 kilometres from the city of Varna.
Hotel Features. Hotel Arabella is an eight storey, fully inclusive hotel, surrounded by trees and garden space. Hotel facilities include an indoor swimming pool and two outdoor pools, one of which has a childrens section. The hotel has a fitness club and a wellness centre featuring spa treatments. Multilingual staff can provide assistance and tour information.

Hotel Arabella offers buffet dining with on the spot cooking stations for freshly prepared dishes. Two restaurants serve Bulgarian and international cuisine. Drinks are also available at the poolside bar.

Conference rooms with audio visual equipment and Internet access (surcharge) are available.

The health club is complete with a sauna, steam room and a range of fitness equipment. Expert Tip. Bulgarias third largest city, Varna, was once a Roman spa town and many artefacts from this time are found at the museum. Also on display is the oldest gold jewellery yet found, dating back to the 5th millenium BC. Other sites worth a visit are the Cathedral of the Assumption and the Dolphinarium.

Distance to Hotel Arabella is 35 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes drive.

Getting there. The number 409 bus runs every 15 minutes to central Varna and Golden Sands. Tickets are available from the driver, and cost 0.60 1.80 BGN (0.30 0.90 EUR). Taxis are available in front of International Arrivals at Terminal 4. Taxis cost 6 16 BGN (3 8 EUR) to the city centre, and the journey time is about 15 minutes. Taxis to Golden Sands are approximately 50 BGN (25 EUR). Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Central Varna is best explored on foot, and the city is served by a network of trolleybuses and buses. Regular buses run between Varnas bus station and the coastal resorts of the Black Sea. Trains and buses link Varna with destinations throughout Bulgaria. A car is recommended for seeing more of the Bulgarian countryside.
