From Cardiff International Airport (CWL):

Getting there. Bus number X91 runs from the airport to Cardiff central station every hour during the day, Monday to Saturday. On bank holidays and Sundays, buses run every two hours. The number 95 runs every hour in the evening, Monday to Saturday. Single fares for both buses are 3.70 GBP, and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Free shuttle buses run from the terminal to Rhoose Cardiff International Station, where travellers can catch a train to Cardiff central station. Taxis typically cost about 20 GBP from the airport to Cardiff centre. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Cardiff can easily be explored on foot. The city is served by an extensive bus network, and there are designated stands for taxis. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding South Wales countryside.

Follow signs for Cardiff A4226 to A4050 to A4232.
Join the M4 at Junction 33 in direction of Newport.
Leave M4 at Junction 26 onto A4051.
Take A4042 in direction of Abergavenny.
After 14 miles take second exit at roundabout onto A40.
After 8 miles leave A40 for A470.
After 33 miles take A44 to Aberystwyth.
After 22 miles take the A487. Follow for two miles.
