Location. Villas Costa Papagayo is located in the popular but peaceful resort town of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Spain, on the sunny Canary Islands. The towns sandy beach, shops and restaurants are just 500 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This small complex of single storey, whitewashed villas, built in 2003, has typically Spanish styling. Each has an outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace, loungers and parasols set in landscaped gardens. Complimentary parking is also available.
Boating is available at Puerto Rubicon, 800 metres from the hotel.
Villas. The 12 three bedroom, 550 square metre villas have light contemporary decor, modern furnishings, tiled floors and separate sitting areas. All include satellite television, DVD players and safes. Each has two bathrooms, and kitchens with ceramic hobs, ovens, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers, dishwashers and washing machines.
Expert Tip. Lanzarote is a good place for those with a sweet tooth. Look out for Bienmesabe (which translates as it tastes good to me), which combines honey, almond paste, eggs, rum or Torrijas and sugared maize flour fritters with honey and aniseed.
