From Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA):
Distance to Villa Mater Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.

Getting there. A shuttle bus from airport to Villa Mater costs 20 EUR. The number 457 city bus departs from the airport every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 30 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicilys larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.

Driving directions. From the airport take the E45 Tangenziale heading north for Messina.
Take the exit for the A18.
Take the exit for Catania/Canalicchio.
Turn left onto the SP9, Via Pietra DellOva.
Turn left onto Via Vittorio Bottego for the hotel.
