Location. The Grand Del Mar is located in San Diego, Calif., adjacent to the Grand Golf Course. Del Mar is less than six miles from the hotel, and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is less than eight miles away.
Hotel Features. The lobby of the 1920s inspired Grand Del Mar features marble mosaic floors and hand stenciled, vaulted ceilings. Serving dinner Tuesday through Saturday, Addison restaurant, named after the architect Addison Mizner, contains marble floors, arches, golf course views and a wine cellar showcasing top merchants. Overlooking the golf course, the Clubhouse Grill offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 21,000 square foot, Renaissance inspired spa offers outdoor massages in poolside cabanas and separate mens and womens locker rooms with fireplaces.
