Location. The New Aegli Hotel is located by Askeli Bay on the island of Poros, Greece, in front of Askeli Beach and 1.5 kilometres from Poros Town. Poros is accessible by hydrofoil and ferry from Galatas and Piraeus.
Hotel Features. The New Aegli has modern whitewashed architecture, and complimentary sun beds are available by the outdoor swimming pool on a terrace, with views of the sea. Expert Tip. The remains of the Doric temple to Poseidon lie on a hill north of Kalaureia. It is here that the orator Demosthenes poisoned himself with hemlock while fleeing the Macedonian authorities.

From Athens Airport (ATH):
Distance to New Aegli Hotel is 65 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes journey.

Getting there. An airport transfer can be arranged by the hotel on request for surcharge. The suburban rail line, metro line 3 and six public bus routes connect from Athens airport to Piraeus, as well as running to Athens Rafina Port. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals, Door 4, and cost about 40 EUR to Piraeus. From Piraeus, take a high speed boat or car ferry to Poros. Ferries also run the short hop to Poros from Galatas, near Epidauros past the Isthmus of Corinth. From the port at Poros, the hotel is 1.5 kilometres along the main road. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Poros is a small island and easily explored by bicycles or scooters, which can be rented from the hotel.

Driving directions. From Poros Port, take the main road and after around three minutes, you will reach Askeli. The New Aegli is clearly signed from there.
