Location. The Gran Hotel Cascada is a boutique spa hotel set amid acres of secluded gardens and parkland in Alhama de Aragon, Spain. It is opposite the thermal lake of the Termas Pallaras Spa, 110 kilometres south west of Zaragoza, and Calatayud train station is 22 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Revealing eye catching contemporary design behind a classic red brick facade, the Gran Hotel Cascada offers an array of indulgence at its Aquatherma thermal leisure centre. Built over the bath gallery of a previous hotel, the centre incorporates mid 19th century features including marble baths, original water outlets, and marble mosaic work which brings echoes of ancient Rome. Guests can submerge in the thermal waters and opt for a templarium, caldarium, or frigidarium, while natural waterfalls, rain mist showers, Vichy shower wraps, and flotation tanks are among the many treats on hand. The beneficial elements of a thermal circuit can be enjoyed in a 75 minute session, and fitness equipment is also available. Wireless Internet can be accessed throughout, and complimentary parking is available.

Getting there. A taxi from the airport to Zaragoza city centre will cost approximately 15 EUR. A bus departs from outside arrivals to the city centre. The high speed AVE train can be taken from Zaragozas El Portillo station to Calatayud station, which is 22 kilometres from the hotel.

Getting around. Alhama de Aragon is compact and best explored on foot. The surrounding country can be seen or foot or by bicycle. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel. Calatayud station is 22 kilometres away and offers connections to Zaragoza and Madrid.
