It is surrounded by many sights, bars and restaurants with good transport links, and so is well placed to explore the area. Artis Zoo is just 100 metres from the hotel, and the Flea Market and Opera House are both 400 metres away. The Maritime Museum and Van Gogh Museum are two kilometres away. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 25 kilometres (15 miles) from the hotel, approximately 20 minutes by car.

Driving Directions:
There is a railway station in the terminals central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes, from there take the number nine tram to Plantage Kerklaan. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall, and a typical fare to the hotel is approximately 35 EUR. Waterlooplein station is 400 metres from the hotel. Public buses also run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities. Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot, although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
