Getting there. Buses run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost around 100 EUR to Taormina. Prices are all subject to change. A typical taxi fare is 60 EUR.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicilys larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
