Location. The Garden Palace is located in the centre of Riga, Latvia, 200 metres from the cathedral, and 300 metres from Riga Castle. Walking distance to the train station is five minutes. Riga Airport is 10 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Opened in 2007, the five storey Garden Palace hotel is set in a 19th century property which retains its period decor and many original features. Amenities include a sauna, wireless Internet access, and a 24 hour front desk with safe deposit box for securing valuables. Guests receive complimentary admission to the popular Roxy nightclub. Parking is available nearby.

The hotels sushi bar, Nobu, offers guests a 20 per cent discount. Decor is Japanese minimalist. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning in the traditionally decorated breakfast room.

From Riga Airport (RIX):
Distance to The Garden Palace is 10 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Getting there. The number 22A express bus runs to Riga city centre every 10 30 minutes. Tickets cost 0.25 LVL, and are available on board. Alternatively, the number 22 bus runs to the city centre, but the journey time is longer. Taxis wait outside arrivals and cost around 8 10 LVL to central Riga. Prices are subject to change.

Getting around. Central Riga and the old town are best explored on foot. Rigas efficient public transport network includes buses, trams, and trolleybuses. Night services are provided on some routes. Separate tickets are required for the different modes of transport. Trains run from Riga central station to destinations across the country.

Driving directions. From the airport turn right to Karla Ulmana Gatve Street.
Turn left on Lielirbes Street and continue straight ahead to Kalnciema Street.
Cross the Vanshu Bridge and take the first turning on the right.
Follow the road under Vashnu Bridge, then turn left to Muitas Street.
Turn left at 11 Novembra Krastmala Street and continue on to Grecinieku Street to find the Garden Palace.
