Location. Royal Orchid Resort Galaxy is located on the beach in five acres of tropical gardens in Uttorda Beach, India. The resort is five kilometers from the city center.
Hotel Features. Royal Orchid Resort Galaxy is a series of white buildings encircling a freeform outdoor pool and a furnished sun deck. Additional recreation amenities include water sports, area cruises and a game room. Dining options include Cosmos, which offers sea views and international cuisine. The restaurant includes a bar. Mars is a seasonal grill restaurant that serves Goan cuisine. Bar be que, also open seasonally, serves buffets and catch of the day during dinner hours only. Complimentary daily breakfasts and 24 hour room service also are provided. The resort offers business services and conference facilities. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. A guest laundry also is on site. The resort will consider accepting small pets.
Guestrooms. The resorts 69 guestrooms (no elevator) include wireless Internet access for a fee, satellite television, direct dial phones, fax machines and safes. Rooms also offer coffee and tea makers, minibars, turndown service and hair dryers. All rooms include balconies. Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

Gala Dinner:
The hotel will host a mandatory Christmas Eve and New Years Eve Gala Dinner on December 24, 2008 and December 31, 2008. All guests will be charged for the dinner whether or not they attend. The compulsory charge for Christmas Eve is RS 3000 per adult and RS 1500 per child 6 18. The New Years Eve is RS 4500 per adult and RS 2250 per child 6 18. This charge is not included in the room rate and is payable directly to the hotel upon check in. The gala dinner fee for children under the age of 6 is complimentary.
